A few things to watch out for

• Undertones matter more than the swatch: Colors read differently under kitchen lighting than on a paint chip. We recommend testing large boards in your actual space before committing.
• Two tones is usually the limit: Adding a third color (like an accent wall too) can start to feel busy in most kitchen layouts.
• Consider resale if you're not staying long-term: Bold island colors are more of an investment in how you enjoy your space day to day than a guaranteed resale bump.
